1. Why are Lord Reith and John Logie Baird so important in terms of the development of TV?  Engineer John Baird was at the forefront of the pro TV revolution,who today is considered as the creator of television.Lord Reith was the director of the BBC who first broadcasted TV,however is ideologies strongly opposed Bairds. 2. How did television develop during the 1930’s? The 1930's was the birth of television,when the BBC became the first company to start a  scheduled TV service. 3. What was the impact of WW2 on TV, especially Post War? During the war,TV became less popular and more people began listening to the radio.However, after the war TV was used to ease people back into regular life. 4. What television genre developed during the late 1940’s and into the 1950’s? Live Television production was introduced in the United States,which marked the first "golden era" of television.In addition,soap operas was another genre that developed in this time period.

Straight Outta Compton Discuss the ways in which media products are produced and distributed to the audience in Straight Outta Compton. You could argue Straight Outta Compton is a hollywood blockbuster film due to its high production budget.Overall,it cost an estimated $50 million to produce.This was possible because the film was made by a conglomerate,Universal studios. Universal pictures has a co-production distribution deal with Legendary pictures,meaning that NBC Universal used vertical integration to produce and distribute the film.This was a high concept film,because it was based on pre-existing material the rap group N.W.A whom are already well known.Therefore,this ensured the film was a success as there was already a global fan base.
